The local IASGA club also affords students an ability to give back to their community through the club’s service learning activity. Each club is required to participate in one community service learning activity during the course of the academic year. Additional materials are provided that will help you create this community service learning program, but please be creative. The materials we are providing are only guidelines. Next summer at the Annual Conference on Education in Information Security (ACEIS), we will have the community service learning projects competition. Each club will be asked to submit their community service learning project and to be judged for creativity, originality and technical accuracy, as well as service to the community.
